Well, tomorrow is my penultimate day of working for Daily Press Inc. I started to clear off my desk today after my shift and as I went through some of the stuff -- yes, crap I saved from earlier desk moves -- it started to hit me that I have spent a huge portion of my last 20 years in this building and at a desk there.
The big "hello" moment was when I realized I have worked here through two marriages and the birth and graduation from high school of my daughter.
OK, so I might not just skip merrily out the door on Friday. There might be a few tears ... but let's just keep this between us, hmmm? Cool.
