Lessons of war and rumors of war

So the war drums were beating on the news tonight w/ some talking head saying that events in Israel, Gaza and Lebanon could be the spark that ingites the Arab world against the Jewish state, led by or at the least encouraged by Iran, and leaving the Western allies no choice but to aid in the fight. The dark vision of this blathering boogey man being that WWIII is likely at hand.

I have to ask why those morons can't learn to get along. There is no forgiveness in any of them, far as I'm concerned, and that's crippling. I know, I know, it's complicated. Still, at some point, you have to start thinking about what kind of future you want for your grandchildrens' children and work it out based on that.

Maybe it could be a start.

I don't know if it is going to get that bad, but it clearly is not a good situation. What it means to me is to make sure that my conscience is clear and that those that I love know it and feel it every day.
