A better Sunday

The sinus crapola is finally lifting. And to treat myself I went out and got myself some new shoes...does this mean I am a metrosexual? Or something worse?

Anyway, here they are, you decide, dear viewer.










I felt well enough today to cash in some coupons at the LL Bean outlet, get some groceries and make the bed, change the couch throw and pack up the last of the winter blankets -- don't ask.





Oh, and, yes, I pulled out the camera and snapped off a few shots this weekend. Here's a couple:


We had a couple rounds of drenching rain this weekend.







I always liked mimosa trees. Had one in our yard growing up and the blooms smelled so sweet.

OK, that's more than a couple. But anyway ... creating feels good.

Have been sleeping late the last few days, so I know I'll be dragging come 7 a.m., so I'm planning to not get upset w/ myself if I don't get in at 9. Having things semi-orderly here will make it easier to cut the grass at the X's tomorrow night after work.

Trying to manage myself through this period. Keep expectations low and make lists of things to do each day this week. Have an appt. 7/11 and think I can deal until then -- I'm off the first week of July, thank gawd!
